The work

Uncharted

Multi-agent systems. Retrieval over document sets that would take a human weeks to read. Clause-level analysis of contracts and policies. Evaluation frameworks to prove the output is right, not just fluent.

We are not following a playbook on this work. We are writing one, and the techniques we shipped six months ago have already been beaten by ones we built since. If you want to be among the people deciding how this gets done, this is that job.

Velocity

An idea on Monday is in front of a client by Friday. We build it, put it in front of real users, and sharpen it against what they do with it. We have rebuilt an entire architecture six weeks into a build because we found a better one. We shipped on time anyway.

That pace comes from short loops between building something and proving it works. Not from longer hours.

Ownership

There is no account layer between you and the person using your work. The engineer who scopes a system is the engineer who builds it. You will hear the problem firsthand, decide what to build and watch someone use it. Very few places let one person hold all of that.

Together

We are distributed across time zones and run on almost no process, because we push on each other’s ideas constantly. We argue about architecture. We challenge each other’s approaches. The best answer wins, and it comes from wherever it comes from.

We get the whole team in the same room in person, and those weeks are some of the best of the year.

• Forward Deployed Engineer: Embed inside a client's business and build the AI system that fixes their problem. Their standups, their constraints, your code in production.
• Senior AI Engineer: Own the retrieval, evaluation and agent orchestration behind every engagement. Depth over proximity, and the standards the whole firm builds on.
